Giving And Rescue Christian Care Interlink Ministries based here in Nakuru Kenya East Africa preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ and where possible helps and takes care of the Orphans, abandoned/disadvantaged children, widows and people with unique diseases and circumstances!!

Our aim on the 18^th&19^th June 2011 THANKS GIVING meetings was to give THANKS TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST” for all the HEALING HE HAS PERFORMED UPON HIS PEOPLE WORLDWIDE through His own GRACE, the prayers of His people, the medical fraternity and His other reasons beyond our human understanding!!We wanted also to thank Him for healing Sally recently from the deadly disease malaria which has claimed many a lives especially in this part of the world.We wanted to THANK HIM for His HEALING POWER and try to sensitize people that God LOVES all of us irrespective of color, race e.t.c  and would like them to be WHOLE or in GOOD HEALTH!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!

In these two THANKS GIVING meetings we did not elaborately plan to pray for the sick, but little did we know that GOD HAD A DIVINE HEALING APPOINTMENT WITH THE SICK IN ATTENDANCE!!!We decided all over sudden to pray for those who were unwell in the meeting!!!Glory to God!!!

DOZENS OF TESTIMONIES OF GOD’S HEALING POWER IN OUR MIDST!!!!

The Lord who was in our midst STRETCHED His GRACIOUS DIVINE HEALING HAND and TOUCHED His people incognito and healed them!!Many diseases speedily fled from God’s people and were made whole! There were shouts of joy and ululations heard from all over of what the Lord has done to them!!!

THIS REMINDS US OF MANY MIRACLES THE LORD HAS ALWAYS PERFORMED IN OUR MIDST AS WE JUST SAY THANK YOU LORD AND MINISTER HIS WORD AND LOVE .WE SPECIFICALLY REMEMBER A UNIQUE MIRACLE 3 YEARS AGO IN OUR OFFICE!!!

Samuel, an orphan (10years) whom we adopted and who lastly lost his mother after his father and siblings had earlier died of the dreaded disease HIV/AIDS and is now under our care and is going on with his education; was feared to automatically have the HIV/AIDS virus infection when he and his late mother first came for help in our office. This was so because he was the last born in His family!!So automatically he was having the infection. But we agreed to pray for Samuel and then take him for the V.C.T test. We thank God that after testing him a number of times he was found negative! Glory to God!!We are seeing him grow in the ways of the Lord. Please continue praying for him. Pray also for the other 40 disadvantaged children we have in our GRCCI EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT PRE-SCHOOL (NURSERY SCHOOL) CENTER. Next year 2012, God willing, we will accommodate 60 disadvantaged children. This will be to the estimated total capacity of our center at the moment apart from the other ones we help in our Rescue care meeting points in this region where our ministry is based. Thank you for every support you have given us. We pray for more support especially this time when the prices of basic commodities e.g. food etc has stretched too high. Because of the drought affecting farming in this country, part of last year and this year,we have a food crisis!!!It is becoming hard for us affording to give even one meal a day to these kids!!!!!

Our long term prayer, dream and plan for G.R.C.C.I Early childhood development center (NURSERY SCHOOL for the orphaned and abandoned children)has come true.The nursery school is finally in operation now.

BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD!!!!!!

Since its founding G.R.C.C.I, through its preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of the Lord, interventions in humanitarian efforts towards many target disadvantaged groups among them the disadvantaged, orphaned and abandoned children we have been compelled to answer to the plight of these little children 3 to 7 years and by God’s grace and through faith we have now began an early childhood development center(Nursery school).

We have assessed 60 disadvantaged children.

We requested someone who gave us his building temporarily to start this program as we trust the Lord to provide us money to pay him rent.We plan (God willing) in future to buy land to build a nursery school center.

We try to give them a meal a day.We move around daily begging for food and other necessities to give them.It is HARD but PLEASE pray for us.We also plan (God willing) to provide them with school uniform each,which is a necessity for school going children here.We hope the Lord will open a door for us to have the uniform for them the earliest possible.

We have also talked to 3 volunteer teachers to help us in teaching these kids for sometime as we trust the Lord to give us money to pay teachers.We also have plans to put in place sustainable means for this program.PLEASE PRAY FOR US.

The objective of this program is to make a difference in the orphaned and abandoned Children here by giving them the vitally needed early childhood development support in terms of spiritual, moral, emotional and educational support. This will ultimately give these unfortunate and disadvantaged children a second lease in life.This program will ensure that the most important, but usually neglected pre-primary/pre-unit education and early moral nurturing, is given the attention it deserves to these children in their early formative years.

The nursery school will be instrumental to feeding and trainuing the children for responsible living as and when they grow up and also to offer quality Education, Spiritual guidance and nourishment and life Skills to the children.

In December 2002 the Government implemented the introduction of free and compulsory education for Primary Schools. One major problem with this is the requirement of the children to be enrolled in Nursery school before progressing to Primary School. The Nursery Schools were not included in the free education system meaning that guardians and families are needed to pay for their children to attend Nursery School before moving on to Class One of Primary School.

Free Primary Education benefits only primary going children and doesn’t cover the pre-unit/primary education. These creates a situation where guardians of orphans ,very poor parents neglect or are unable to take their children for the very vital pre-unit/pre primary education citing different reasons ranging from lack of enough money to take the kids to school and thus preferring to leave their kids out of school and eventually naively releasing them straight into the primary levels with no basic foundations for their primary education.

But unfortunately,the young mother girl became sick after two days.The widow lady took the young mother to a hospital where she died after five days!

The late young school girl had not informed the widow lady of who were her parents or relatives or where she came from!!!!.

So the widow  lady, who had 10 children of her own decided to take the little orphaned baby and take care of her.She named her Isabel.She did not have money to be buying milk for this little baby!

SO SHE DECIDED TO TRY TO BREASTFEED THE CHILD THROUGH HER OWN BREASTS!!!

From the start there was no milk but gradually breast milk became available!Praise the Lord Isabel  is now 8 years old.She is in class 2(grade 2).

The widow lady was not  in a position to take care of her children plus Isabel (orphaned miracle girl).We decided to register Isabel for any possible assistance in our PREACHING and HELPS ministry(G.R.C.C.I.) .Isabel needs help.

We are kindly requesting for anyone  to SPONSOR Isabel in her educational and other basic necessities.

What a joy to see that through this ministry many children,families and individuals e.t.c have come to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior. As the song goes “we shall come rejoicing bringing in the sheaves”.

GOD HAS BEEN GRACIOUS TO US

The Lord has been gracious to G.R.C.C.I Ministry here that we run for the sake of His name and has enabled us to achieve a lot for His glory and honor.We THANK GOD for enabling us together with your prayers and support to do the following:

{a}. Orphans: We have been catering for orphans,disadvantaged,destitute and the abused children during their formative years. Our target group is children below fifteen years of age. Our core values have been to provide ethical and socially responsive childcare in the form of:

-Spiritual and social welfare.

-Shelter food and other nutritional provisions.

-Educational and vocational training.

-Health care.

In our Rescue Care area centers we have now 254 children who need help and assistance.

{b}. Widows: Due to the HIV &AIDS pandemic and of course other various reasons,we have so many cases of widows registered in our care centers. We have tried through Gods grace to assist the extreme and disadvantaged ones with helping their families with basic needs. We also educate/train them how to start income generating activities in order to stop the dependency syndrome. We now have 215 registered widows in our rescue care area centers.

{c}. HIV&AIDS cases: We are trying to assist people with HIV and AIDS and counsel those who are affected.

-We have helped many to be tested and know their status.

-Provided food and other nutritional provisions.

-Provision of medicine.

-Home based care e.t.c.

We have now 214 registered cases in our rescue care area centers.

{c}. Unique diseases and circumstances: As we moved around preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ,we realized and found that many people are hidden in their families e.t.c. because of their unique diseases. Some family members do not want them to come out to the public because they consider them a bad omen.After giving them counseling we have helped so many cases who have been treated medically e.t.c. We have had cases that needed urgent surgeries and treatment to remedy their situation. Right now we have 118 registered cases in our rescue care area centers.

{d}. Physically and Mentally challenged: There are many cases that need wheelchairs, artificial limbs,, spectacles, hearing aids e.t.c. But due to poverty and very unfortunate circumstances and conditions they live in,they can not afford.We thank God so far for enabling us assist various cases with providing them with the above named necessities whenever possible. At present we have 98 registered cases in our rescue area centers.

{e}. Bibles: One of our main goals and vision is to give a copy of the Bible to those who are unable to purchase one for themselves. To date we have given many copies of the word of God to many deserving people. We are happy and thankful to all who have donated copies of new or used Bibles to us to distribute to the people who need them. As at now we have more than 300 people registered with us who need copies of the Bible.

{f}. Shelter, Food, clothing and other basic necessities. Because of various circumstances in life many people at times can not afford the above mentioned necessities of life. Where possible we have been of great assistance to many people with basic needs.

{g}. Salvation testimonies: Our main target is to see souls coming to the Lord Jesus Christ. What a joy to see that through this ministry many families and individuals e.t.c have come to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior. As the song goes “we shall come rejoicing bringing in the sheaves”.
